Li'l φhi At Knott's Berry Farm I

Li'l phi

Hey VWers,

It's me again.

As I said a few weeks ago, I'm trying for another hat trick with pics in EIP, Private Shots and here in Freestyle (I hope, as long as they aren't moved by VW). Back in November, Knott's Berry Farm in Orange County, CA, held a month long salute to our servicemen and veterans. Free admission. Whoot. So Damien (a former active duty Marine) and I went and did our dirty deeds at the park. I've got an EIP contribution that I'll post here in a few days, but in the meantime, here's a less public contribution.

Back in the early days of Orange County, when Knott's was really a farm, part of the draw was the authentic reproduction of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall on the south end of the property. At night, this building is only lit at the top, so we went and lit it at the bottom.

And sticking to tradition, here's a Yee Haw to some more of my newer fans. From Orange County itself - Gene and Jeremy; From the rest of California - Strightbar, David, Big Daddy, Jack R and Grandpa Grizz; Denver - Terry, Matt and Vick; New Jersey - Brian and Ed; Cleveland - Dan and Scott; Oklahoma - Kevin and Kurt; Kentucky - John S, Xavier and jukes; Massachusetts - both Jeffs (matchstick and Jonesy) and T Black (you only said New England, so I'm lumping you in LOL); Connecticut - Adam and Craig; Arizona - the three D's, Dan, Dave and Dale; Georgia - joe bob and Teddy Bear; Ahan from Nevada and Justin from Maine.

Stay warm, y'all. Winter's finally here.

~ φhi

Yes, it's night time. Yes, it's not a close-up. But think of it this way,
I'm setting the scene. This is the front door of the Independence Hall building.

Wally:
Voyeureb welcomes back Lil Phi!

Contributor:I rang the doorbell and no one was home.
Too bad - see what they missed.

Wally:
They missed a sexy pair of titties!!!

When you're all alone in front of a monument like this one,
it kinda makes you feel humble and want to kneel...

Contributor:
... or wait for Igor. LOL

Wally:
Lil Phi loves Igor :)

Okay, to make this shot work, we couldn't use the flash.
That's the "Liberty Bell" on display.

Contributor:
And this is the back of the Liberty Bell. LOL

Wally:
Love that famous crack :)

I feel like a tour guide. "And this is the brick-by-brick replica built by
Walter Knott." I'd do that job if they paid me to do it nekkid.

Oh, btw, for those of you who know the area.
We are just 40 feet from Highway 39, better known locally as Beach Boulevard.

We thought that this sign was very appropriate for the occasion.

And no public were harmed in the making of this contribution.
We were all alone the whole time. =D

Wally:
Pink taco!

Knott's salutes our military and so do I.

Ooh Rah and Semper Fi - no matter what service you're in.

Wally:
Thanks!
